Laser engraving

A little about my creative process..

Hey there, lovelies! Are you ready to take a behind-the-scenes peek at the magic behind creating some seriously fabulous designs? Buckle up, because it's about to get wild.

Project in progress

First up, I sit down at my trusty computer and let my creativity run wild, providing I'm not distracted from pinning more ideas, looking at email and snooping on Etsy (that glorious ADHD Creative brain at work). From selecting or drawing the perfect design to deciding on fonts and copy, I put my heart and soul into it. And I won't lie, my pets often steal the show by stealing pieces and walking through wet paint. But hey, what's a little fur and paw prints among friends?

Next, it's time to get my hands dirty. I prep the wood, sanding, staining, or painting it with a little bit of imperfection that adds character and charm. But that's where my can-do attitude comes in. I embrace the uniqueness and turn it into something beautiful. And my fuzzy helpers are always there to supervise, of course.

After prepping the wood, I send my design off to be laser cut with the precision of a boss. And then comes the assembling line, where I, a one-woman show, work my magic to turn the individual pieces into a beautiful finished product. But I won't lie, the garage often stages a hostile takeover during busy seasons. It's a constant battle, but I always come out on top.

And for those of you who love a good finished product, get ready to fall in love! I'm not just a DIY kit creator, I also create beautiful finished pieces that are ready to be displayed in your home. And while I love meeting my customers for porch pickups, the truth is that I often only see them on the camera because I'm busy creating.

So there you have it, my friends! My process combines modern technology like laser cutting with a sassy and fun can-do attitude. Whether you're a seasoned creative or just looking for a little inspiration, I've got you covered. Let's keep creating and making the world a more beautiful place! XOXO
